Shui Hau literally means “the discharge point where rivers and streams flow into the sea”. The natural habitats here are diverse and interconnected. Nestled among hills, rivers, wetlands, and the sea, human settlement is home to a variety of animals and plants that live, forage, and thrive here.

Shui Hau Diary consists of two volumes: Cultural Landscape and People. It gathers interviews and research articles published on the website, along with an abundance of new photos, enabling readers to gain a more three-dimensional understanding of Shui Hau’s ecology and village life.
