Tales of Shui Hau (Exhibition, Screening & Guided Tours)

Urban Diary, a local NGO that advocates sustainable urban ways of life, will host a series of exhibition, screening, and guided tours in the coming two weekends. Friends of Urban Diary and the expat community in Lantau are cordially invited to join our event.

The village of Shui Hau is three hundred years old. THe village is bounded by the Lantau Peak to the north and the South China Sea to the south. "Tales of Shui Hau" documents the village and its people by text, images and documentary. We offer a new perspective of understanding Shui Hau and Lantau Island.

             Please allow one hour

2:30PM  Biodiversity tour of the Shui Hau mudflats
                    Please allow one and a half hours
                    Sturdy-soled shoes recommended

4PM  Presentation of the accompanying photo exhibit by Curator Dr. Chloe Lai
             Please allow 45 minutes

5:30PM  Screening of the documentary
                    Rhymes of Shui Hau
                    Please allow a half hour

The last bus to Tung Chung is at 6:35PM
